一、整体设计思路

W hich ishealthier,tea orcoffee?是《学生双语报·读写版》的一篇素材,旨在让学生理解文章并能运用所学知识表达自己的观点看法。新课标要求:“在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言。”本节课将遵循这一原则,设计不同的阅读任务,梯度上升,使学生在充分感知、体会和使用语言的同时,理解文章,展开写作活动,输出、活用所学知识。

二、教学目标

语言知识目标:使用文章中相关的语言表达自己对茶和咖啡的认识与看法。

语言技能目标:通过完成不同的任务加强获取信息、分析信息和组织加工信息的能力。

情感价值观:能客观看待日常生活中的人与事,一分为二地看待问题。

学习策略:能根据不同的阅读及写作任务,选择使用不同的阅读策略。

文化意识:能欣赏语言美和了解英语国家人对茶和咖啡的看法。

三、教学重难点

1.学生在阅读中体验语言,理解文本并逐步训练语篇分析能力。

2.学生能在语境中运用所学语言表达自己的观点。

五、教学过程

Step 1 Lead-in

Show the video of the ad about Nestle Coffee. Get the students to talk about what information they have gotten from the ad and what they think of coffee.

Tell students a riddle about tea. They guess the riddle and talk about their opinions about tea.

Step 2 Pre-reading

Task1 Prediction.

Read the title,the picture and the subtitles in bold and try to guess what the passage is about.

Step 3 While-reading

Task2 Reading for gist

Read and divide the paragraphs into four parts. Match the four parts with the main ideas. At the same time check if their predictions are right.

六、教学评价设计

教学过程中注重评价的积极作用。设计各种任务活动使学生自己对文本信息的理解及语言输出活动进行自评;写前讨论及写完同伴互相检查,设计同伴互评;小组讨论后的分享,设计小组评价;同时教师点评,鼓励学生积极投入课堂活动。

本堂课的课型是听说课,笔者将教学重点放在引导、教授和对目标语言的运用上,并在活动中创设较为真实的情景让学生运用目标语言。回顾反思,本堂课的成功之处主要体现在以下几个方面:

(一)整合教材内容,合理设计教学

目前的教材内容丰富,但在实际教学中,并不一定需要每一个环节,也不可能照顾到方方面面,这就要求教师在备课的过程中整合教材,合理取舍,根据教学目标和教学重难点安排教学。本堂课的教学重难点突出,设计合理。
